We craft landscapes mindful of context and inspired by nature.
Ecology and architecture can be woven together in ways that are beautiful and effective. We strive to take complex natural systems and make them legible, connecting people to the land they live in.
Max Stuber
Max is a landscape designer who enjoys finding beauty in the natural world.
Max began his professional career after transplanting to the central coast of California following graduation from the University of Illinois. Working for esteemed landscape design firms, he developed a strong design sense for merging natural landscapes with intimate residential spaces. Now settled back in the Midwest, the tall-grass prairies and hardwood forests of Illinois are what anchor his design intentions, focusing on the natural context of each individual site.
Max draws from his expertise in quality materials and natural systems to help refine project palettes.
